What I Have
Learned This Semester
This
semester, I have learned many things about writing. I have learned how to be more efficient with
my writing, what rhetoric is, how to analyze advertisements and how to tell how
an advertisement is rhetoric. I have
also learned how to dig for sources.
Before, I did not know how to really look for sources and properly cite
them, but now, I know how to properly cite my sources. I know how to write my papers from different
angles, how to really get my ideas down on my paper. I know how to make a bibliography, and how to
make a good outline. The class overall
has been a very good class for me. I
really have learned a lot and I plan to use what all I have learned from here
on out.
The
way I will use everything that I have learned so far this semester on
assignments in this class and assignments in other classes is my way I write my
papers and how I am able to gather information and apply it to my paper. I will be able to write more detailed papers,
be more specific about what I am writing and be able to express how I feel about
the topics better. I will know how to
take the topic and analyze it more in depth so that I will be able to cover all
of the aspects of the assignment. I will
know how to research proper articles for my assignments when needed, and I will
know how to present my point more effectively in all the assignments I do. This class has been very helpful to me this
semester, and I am happy about all that I have learned. I feel much better about writing papers and
doing research now.
